Materials Management Services (Client-Shell) – Value N33.2 Million

In addition to the provision of manpower services, Saturn Ventures has also provided materials management services to the Oil/Gas industry in Nigeria. Between September 2001 and April 2012, the following projects were executed – Client SPDC

• i. Reviewed stock inventory control parameters, set realistic control parameters, and proposed optimal stock levels.  Trained
  • clients’ staff in the process.
• ii. Reviewed the materials stock inventory for moribond items, proposed various elimination strategies, and implemented the
  • approved strategies.
• iii. Materials stock Auditing:- counted, checked, the materials stock in storage, investigated differences, proposed adjustments to
  • bring inventory accuracy level from 65% to 98.50%. Training of clients staff.

Procurement/Supplies

Saturn Ventures has also purchased and supplied telecommunication equipment and accessories to Shell in support of the maintenance of its communication facilities (1996).

April 2002 to October 2004

During this period, Saturn Ventures carried out the following works.
-Standardized the various materials stock for Shell 
-Reviewed all the materials items, eliminated duplicated ones, and proposed measures for the control of stock variety.
-Training client’s staff.
